To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
COVERAGE & PREPARATION – It is recommended that approximately 1Ltr. of product is sufficient to waterproof a top for a 4 seater car. It is best to apply the product in cool/overcast conditions so that drying time is not too fast and to avoid causing an uneven finish.
APPLICATION STEP 1 – Shake the bottle well and decant sufficient product into a separate container to apply to the soft top. Starting in the middle and working towards the edges, apply the waterproofer with a clean paintbrush. Avoid spilling any onto the vehicle’s paintwork.
APPLICATION STEP 2 – Leave for 3 hours to allow the waterproofer to dry and if required recoat again allowing 3 hours drying time.
FOLLOW UP – It is recommended that the canvas is sealed and protected using Protex Canvas Waterproofer every six months.
