Scratch Doctor’s Leather Sealant provides a Long Lasting Waterproof and Scratch Resistant Top Coat for all your Leather items. Use this product after a Recolouring job to Seal and Protect the Colourant from cracking or peeling and maintain the Leather’s texture and aroma. After use, your leather will feel very smooth and soft and will be completed restored. All our Leather Finishes are water based meaning that they are non hazardous, non flammable, safe and easy to use. This Leather Sealant is available in 3 different finishes – Matt, Satin and Gloss. The Matt Sealant provides a no sheen finish and is ideal for Furniture, Sofas and Car Seats. Our Gloss provides a very shiny, high sheen finish and works well on Shoes, Boots and Bags. If you are not sure which finish you require, the Satin Sealant is our most popular finish as it provides a great balance between the Matt and Gloss. To use Scratch Doctor’s Leather Sealant after a Recolouring job simply apply by spray or by sponge. The correct thickness of coat allows you to imprint your fingerprint into the wet finish, but without applying so much that it runs. Apply 3 coats of Finish to your leather item and ensure each coat is throughly dried before applying another. All coats will dry clear. After application, the leather will be useable within. 24 hours and the finish will continue to strengthen for the next 7 days. Do not use on Suede or Nubuck.
